Any politico knows the Congress is the most corruptable body of individuals in America. Long established FACT. So now, where do they get thier income? Certainly not the paycheck. IMHO, lobbyists and special interet groups provide much of their income...in varying forms.

I don’t know, but he says he and his wife put the children to bed every night, then sit at the kitchen table worrying about how to pay the bills.

According to Neil Cavuto this morning on Fox News, the house he lives in is worth $1.3 million. His mother also has a house in the ‘compound’. I bet the others belong to his children.

The younger Biden has since left MBNA to establish his own lawyer-and-lobbying firm, but still receives a $100,000 per year consulting fee from the bank, which has since been swallowed by Bank of America. In 2006, Hunter Biden was appointed by President Bush to a five-year term on the Amtrak Reform Board.

Lobbyist Hunter Biden Is Sued on Paradigm Purchase

R. Hunter Biden, a Washington lobbyist, fraudulently excluded a partner from the purchase of a hedge-fund investment firm, the partner claims in a lawsuit.

Biden and his uncle James Biden squeezed investment consultant Anthony Lotito Jr. out of the 2006 acquisition of New York-based Paradigm Cos., Lotito says in a complaint filed Jan. 5 in New York state court. The Bidens lied to Lotito about their joint offer while negotiating a better deal alone, Lotito’s complaint says. The Bidens deny the claims.

May 14, 2003 Robert Hunter Biden, who is a year younger (than his brother, Beau Biden) at 33, is a lawyer with the firm of Oldaker Biden & Belair in Washington. He previously worked in the U.S. Commerce Department during the Clinton administration.

Biden has less houses than John Kerry. (Remember when the MSM was all over Kerry and his houses? Well I don’t remember it either but it must have happened.)

(Biden ran for President in 1988 but no one remembers anything about it other than him plagiarizing someone’s speech.) “Although he admits to a tendency to ‘bloviate,’ he thinks that an aggressive advocate [for credit card companies and Big banking???] with rough edges [compulsive teeth whitening?] might be just what the party needs right now. ‘Democrats nominated the perfect blow-dried candidates in 2000 and 2004,’ he said, ‘and they couldn’t connect.’” And instead of blow-dried it’s time to try... the hair plugs candidate?

his son, a Beltway lobbyist, was slapped with an ugly and very embarrassing lawsuit involving the kind of hedge-fund investment firm his dad spends so much time dealing with to the exclusion of real issues that plague real Americans. “R. Hunter Biden, a Washington lobbyist and son of U.S. presidential hopeful Senator Joseph Biden, fraudulently excluded a partner from the purchase of a hedge-fund investment firm, the partner claims in a lawsuit. Biden and his uncle James Biden squeezed investment consultant Anthony Lotito Jr. out of the 2006 acquisition of New York-based Paradigm Cos., Lotito says in a complaint filed Jan. 5 in New York state court. The Bidens lied to Lotito about their joint offer while negotiating a better deal alone,

Hunter Biden, 36, founder and partner of Washington-based lobbying firm Oldaker, Biden & Belair LLP, stepped down this month from daily oversight of Paradigm Global Advisors LLC, a unit of Paradigm Cos. that manages investments in hedge funds. He became the firm’s chairman and remains a lobbyist, an unusual dual role as scrutiny of the hedge-fund industry has increased.”

Are you just now finding out that we have 450+ economic genius’s in congress. They are all pulling this very quiet maneuver. Do you know why Hassett (sp?) screamed the loudest when the FBI raided Jefferson’s office? Because the guilty dog always barks first and the loudest. Haystack is so dirty 40 tons of bleach would not clean him up. BY the way when does Jefferson get turned free?

We’ve all heard about ‘Dead Pools’...Well, with Biden being the compulsive prevaricator that he is...Perhaps we should have a ‘Lie Pool’...and bet on how long he can go, before he gets caught in a lie, what the lie will be about, and how fantabulous of a lie it is, on a scale of 1 to 10.

Heck we could even have a good debate over what ranking any particular lie would rate on the scale.

>BoD

We could promote it as the: ‘When Will Biden Lie? Pool’.

Or have 3 seperate Pools:

‘What will Bidens First Lie Be?’

and:

‘How Big a Lie Will Bidens First Lie Be?’

About a year ago, poor Elizabeth Edwards when asked about their 10,000 sq. ft. mansion said that they saved money by using frequent flyer miles.

BTW, that’s partly the reason why McCain didn’t answer the question. His ranch in AZ has several small houses on it. So it depends on how it was counted.

So, Mr. Biden, how many homes do you have.

Obama just p!ssed away half of his potential attacks on McCain.

I searched Delaware’s public online database of deeds. Found 21 deed transfers involving the Bidens (Sr., Jr., III) since 1961.

Only a few newer ones have the details online. You have to pay to get a printout of the ones not online.

Here’s the only one having $$$ details online for the Barley Mill address (the area shown in the aerial photos):

Here’s a map outlining the boundaries of the parcel:

Don’t forget his first wife and child were killed in a traffic accident many years ago. I’m sure the insurance money made it’s way toward the home purchase.
The actual value of the home compound is significant. Delaware doesn’t reassess home values and the value probably has been static for quite a few years.
