I have never heard of her, except on Freep. So, I doubt if the mass of the population knows who she is.

Alaska? That certainly won’t help McCain.

A woman? Women mostly vote Dem anyway.

Another thing that has been bothering me about Palin. She's pregnant but I don't know when she's due. However the stress of a campaign and a pregnancy might not work, not just for the campaign but for her and her family.

But let's go ahead and say she's the VP choice. Let's say McCain/Palin wins. It's Inauguration day and she has a problem with the newborn - or about to be born. As I said I don't know when she's due.

Now let's say McCain has a medical problem after the election but before the inauguration and can't serve as president. Palin - because of pregnancy/newborn problems can't serve. Where does the presidency go?

I'm guessing it goes to Pelosi...shudder.

As much as I would love to see Palin as VP, it may not be the best choice for several reasons including the one I mentioned.
