SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Barack Obama introduced Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware on Saturday as a man "ready to step in and be president," and the newly minted running mate quickly turned his campaign debut into a slashing attack on Republicans seeking four more years in the White House.

Just a question for Joe Biden: you told jokes today about how many kitchen tables Sen. McCain has. How may do you think he had at the Hanoi Hilton? And, btw, what were you doing between 1967 and 1973? (Just call me curious.)
I watched a couple minutes of Biden. This may well be precursor of what is to come at the convention this week. I predict that sales of sleep aids will plummet causing a crisis in the pharmaceutical industry.

This *should* be the last nail, unless the American people are just completely asleep...
This VP process by camp BHO was a disaster.
1)The text message should have gone out at 3 pm yesterday - not early am today.
2)The VP choice is odd at best. Hillary (despite her campaign debt and the baggage she brings)was by far and away his best choice. His second best choice was Bayh. Biden gives him nothing - worse, he is a liability.
3)The speeches today were terrible at best. The gaffes were too many to count.
You know, Bob Beckel is an old pro. Sure he tows the party line but he will speak his mind from time to time. I think it is quite obvious by his words and facial expressions that he sees Biden as a disaster. The BHO (or Barack America)spell is wearing off. If McCain stays steady he will win this with some room to spare.
