Springfield, Illinois We just arrived at the state capitol. Were told Biden is en route and on the plane Obama spokeswoman Linda Douglass told us that Obama called Biden Thursday night to offer him the job
It is literally 90 degrees warmer than it was on February 10, 2007. The lecterns all set up with the new Obama/Biden logo. Obama's plane wasnt changed the tip that broke Kerry's choice of Edwards in 2004 -- it simply reads Change We Can Believe In; www.barackobama.com"). A significantly smaller crowd has turned up for this event than the 17,000 for Obamas presidential roll out....

veeeeery interesting ;-)
I did not see a thread on this already, maybe it can be moved to breaking?
Only a few thousand. What, no free concert?
Get ready for a huge gaffe as Biden tries to improv on that one.
There’s also an Obama event scheduled for Eau Claire, Wisc., tomorrow somewhere in town.
I was hoping that Obama would pick loud mouth obnoxious Biden, but I kept quiet so as not to jinx it.
Biden: Clean, but overly inarticulate in a long-winded fashion.
Didn't want to be the cause of a large scale Popcorn shortage just before the Rat convention, ehhhh?
/grin
Well if you call a few lies and plagiarism “clean” then I guess he's passed the smell test.
If Biden is VP I think we get three for one....Biden, Wexler and Leahy.
Obama picked the wrong running partner, but that's JMHO, coming from a Red State.
Realistically, whom else could he have picked, excluding those, of course, who would not take the gig?
Well, plagiarism IS change..
Can’t wait for the first “Obama bin Biden” event. I hope I’ve stocked enough popcorn the next week.
I think today is the official gotopless day.Anybody hear about the parades that were to happen today?????....
Biden won’t respect that. He has his plugs, don’t you know?
I can’t wait to see the dramatic entrance by these two....
Hillary Clinton Statement on Obamas Biden Pick
In naming my colleague and friend Joe Biden to be the vice presidential nominee, Barack Obama has continued in the best traditions for the vice presidency by selecting an exceptionally strong, experienced leader and devoted public servant. Senator Biden will be a purposeful and dynamic vice president who will help Senator Obama both win the presidency and govern this great country.
