I like Jim Morrison’s (The Doors) “American Prayer” better.

Cool music. Goofy poetical lyrics that everyonce in awhile make some sense - not that I agree with them, just that you can understand them!. (And R - perhaps X rated).

Actually, some of those lyrics would make for a good Obama “promotional” video as well.

“Do you know the warm progress under the stars?
Do you know we exist?
Have you forgotten the keys to the Kingdom?
Have you been borne yet & are you alive?
Let’s reinvent the gods, all the myths of the ages
Celebrate symbols from deep elder forests....”

[With a backdrop of Obama frolicking in the woods with his Muslim garb]

“The fathers are cackling in trees of the forest
Our mother is dead in the sea....”

[Show Obama waving a wand cleaning up the polluted forests and oceans. (Didn’t he say something like that in his nomination speech? “This is the day that the earth was healed....?”)]

“Do you know we are being led to slaughters by placid admirals & that fat slow generals are getting obscene on young blood...”

[Backdrop of any CNN news report covering the Iraq war]

The song goes on and on and gets weirder and weirder. Sort of like Obama’s campaign.

“...this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal...”

Here’s his quote. Hey, not bad for someone with a poor memory.

ROTFLMAO! What a sterling analogy! Fabulous.
