It does seem odd, but maybe Oprah’s Obama wants to seal up the three electoral votes of DE, a tiny place that has been heavily Democrat for years now. Maybe GHWB should have chosen Pete DuPont twenty years ago too since he became so defensive about Dan Quayle and let the media deride Quayle.
