WASHINGTON -- It was a potentially counter-intuitive pitch Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was making today, about how the presumed Democratic presidential candidate from Illinois actually understands issues in the West better than the Republican one from Arizona.
But there he was on a call with Western reporters, summing it up like this:
"Barack Obama doesn't wear cowboy boots, doesn't wear a cowboy hat -- because it wouldn't look right," Reid said.

You are right, plus, he can wear a long white dress with a turban on his head, just as he did in Kenya. He wouldn’t fill the cowboy boots of my gread grandson, and my great grandson is only 7 months ols....yes, he has his boots and he’s been on a horse.
