I can understand the argument (though it's not in accordance with current Supreme Court law) that birth in the US + American Citizen Mom (if under a certain age), isn't enough to make you a citizen.

BUT, IF you are a citizen at Birth, I can't possibly see how being jerked around the world as a kid, voluntarily or involuntarily, by mom, dad, step dad, kidnappers, or whoever, can possibly de-citizenize you.

Imagine that your kid is 100% American. your spouse decides to split when kid is 5, goes to Flyspeckia, marries a Flyspeckian -- your kid's not an American any more?? She can never be President?? I doubt that you would think so.

You misunderstand the entire case. The question is not whether Obama is a citizen, but whether he fulfills the requirement of a “natural born citizen” ie born-on-American-soil. A citizen and a natural born citizen are two different things. I hope that cleared it up some, I know it’s a bit confusing.
