There is no indication in the article that her illegal immigrant ex-husband was in the area or even in the country at the time of the children's deaths.

It seems odd that an enraged ex-husband would murder his two children without leaving a mark on them and leave his ex-wife untouched.

I would expect a bloody slaying that included the ex-wife and possibly himself.

I believe that a Susan Smith scenario is much more likely.

As you may recall, Susan Smith wanted to start a new life with her boyfriend but he told her that he didn't want her kids, so she killed her kids in a non-bloody way in a car, i.e. drowning them by submerging her vehicle.

Stacey van Herpen apparently wanted to start a new life with her boyfriend but he abruptly cut off the relationship days before her two children were found dead in an automobile, with their bodies not immediately revealing whether or not their death was intentional.

The timeline makes Stacey the primary suspect in my mind.

I would also point out that the Obama angle is apropos. Stanley Anne Dunham was evidently a poorly adjusted narcissist with a predilection for outsiders who sent away her son when he became problematic for her new relationship.

“Susan Smith scenario is much more likely’

My thought, also.

I have no evidence, but I am thinking the muzzie guy did not want to take on the other guys’ children, so mom did the Susan Smith solution.
