The Salt Lake City Tribune buys into the well-rehearsed histronics of the brainwashed mother and daughter.
"I cannot live without my mother!" What hogwash. Where was Mom when daughter was living with cult prophet Jeffs?
If anyone is taken in by this farce, they need their heads examined.

This 'mom' is one sick puppy and probably belongs in a cell right next to Jeffs.
But mark my words by the time this fiasco plays out Texas taxpayers are going to make some of these FLDS people very, very rich.

Did the girl indeed live off the compound and with Jeffs?

I know you’re looking forward to that, but I don’t think that’s a slam dunk.

Did the girl indeed live off the compound and with Jeffs? Probably not...I forgot that he was on the run from law enforcement and in jail where he belongs for some time...but "Mom" encouraged the "marriage" prior to that.

Going to foster care is a sad affair. I doubt many parents or children look forward to it. I know some of you disagree with me about the SC taking these kids and that's ok. I respect most of yalls opinions but...I still believe the SC got this wrong. Now kids are going to start going thru this again? Once done would not it have been better for the SC to state start getting the ones back that are safe to return as soon as possible...allowing the state to keep working with the families of the rest. I can almost guarantee even the politest of the the kids will be kickers and screamers this time.

TN.. I can believe that. When parents are upset...kids will be upset too. This time she goes alone. Last time she was with others. That has to be scary. I’m not saying it shouldn’t have been done but I can understand this child’s fears. Mom however....My sympathy for her is long gone.

I can’t even see it yet:’)

I feel awful for the girl. I dont’ know how scary it is (at least she does know what’s in store, and I do suspect that her foster parents will be above reproach, simply because the state could not afford to do otherwise). But I know it must be heartbreaking and confusing for her. Even abused children generally want to stay with their parents, and I rather doubt this child thinks she’s been abused.
What a mess.
