We visited Louisiana one time and were amazed to see a twelve foot alligator and a man sleeping on an air mattress in the same pond. We asked the man why he was in alligator/water snake infested waters. He said, “I’m from Lousiana....and it’s hot....when its hot I go swimming.” He was not the least bit concerned!
