They probably had the Obama/Che bumperstickers ready, but when they figured out he could only vote, not run for VP, they took their crayons and added a “t”.
Y A W N........
He’s not scary. He doesn’t have a funny name. And by the way, did I mention.....he’s white?

Would someone please explain to me why everyone here keeps saying that Edwards has a "Edwards has a 100% NRA rating."
Cheney had been Secretary of Defense, a Congressman, a White House Chief of Staff and CEO of a billion-dollar company.
My Bloomberg is flashing that the WSJ is saying that it’s Gov. Kaine of Virginia.
“That must be why Joe Biden yelled at some guy to get off his lawn, pal. He must be fuming.”
I noticed that, too, and thought the behavior was a bit peculiar for a guy who will be chosen for the VP position. He was angry!
And 5 minutes later...
Edwards: Yes, it’s my baby.
Of course, I had this image in my mind:
“Obama is off the John but he’s still full of Chet.”
Too funny!
Ha! Sounds like Michelle bossed him around through the primaries, and now Nancy and Hill each have a hold on his critical parts for steering him now.
If true, the name mixup is natural.
But it is also another indiction of how incredibly stupid/naive Obama is. (If you doesn’t realize that “Edwards” is a name with a lot of baggage, don’t pack your clothes in that piece of luggage.)
The draft lottery was performed yearly in 1969, 1970, 1971 and 1972 for persons born between 1944 and 1950 for the 1969 lottery, and then up to 1951 in 1970, 1952 in 1971, and 1953 in 1972. The 1972 results weren't used because the draft was ended in 1973.
Thus, Mr. Edwards would have been eligible for the draft.
According to this site:
http://www.sss.gov/lotter2.htm
Mr. Edwards’ birthday, November 24, received the lottery number 81, and men were called up to service with numbers of 125 in this year. Thus, it's likely that Mr. Edwards received a draft notice.
In his wiki bio, there appears to be no record of military service.

A “source” on the Chicago Trading floor IM’s us that he has info it’s Tim Kaine. FWIW.
Lot’s of speculation right now, time will tell
I laughed last night-someone on Fox talked about some potential pick as a “dark horse”!!!! I bet after she said it she thoughtoh-oh! Someone will call her a racist!
In the controversial 2003 Texas redistricting, Edwards' district was renumbered as the 17th District, and the U.S. Army post Fort Hood was removed from the district. His district absorbed College Station, home of Texas A&M, a longtime bastion of conservatism. It also absorbed several heavily Republican Fort Worth suburbs.
Isn’t that Woody Harrleson?
And just that quickly the same trading floor “source” says that whatever WSJ headline he was using has been withdrawn.
