Praise by a Chavista for a proud American athlete seems to have gone slightly overboard. "Only Michael Phelps, when competing in the 1972 Munich Olympics, over there in Hitler's Germany, won as many medals," continues the Chavista newscaster. But wouldn't you know it: "Adolf Hitler, who presided over these 1972 Olympics (in a chauvinistic snit fit, it appears), refused to personally award the medals to Michael Phelps."Bwahahahah! You can't make up that stuff!

Hey, in 500 years, some kid is going to get an “A” on his history test for writing a paper like this and getting all the names from the same century right in one sentence. It’s close enough for public school. ;)

U.S. Senator John "Bluto" Blutarsky was an eyewitness to Hitler's snub of Michael Phelps at the 1972 Olympics, the Summer before Hitler bombed Pearl Harbor.
