I imagine that if they are using the methane, they will burn it in a “Gas” engine/generator converted for Methane use.

The methane is not processed, just burnt. It is a dirty fuel and the engines require constant maintenance.

Guess it won’t pass EPA standards in CA. Guess they will send it to us little dumb folks in the Red States.

I see that this produces 50 Hz power. China uses 50 Hz power. They won’t care how dirty it is.

Get it right. Methane, CH4, is a major component comprising 70 to 90% of natural gas composition.

The short chain hydrocarbons (ethane, propane butane etc) burn very clean.
