Ever been in a situation where everyone around you was trying to use their cell phones, and the towers got overloaded and the system just crashed for a while. Any thoughts on several million, simultaneous texts being sent and how they could impact telecommunications tomorrow? Just asking...
Good question ... ‘cause then the texting will be multiplying exponentially. Guess we shall soon see.

A text message uses way less bandwidth than a voice call. It also doesn't need immediate delivery and can therefore be prioritized below voice packets.
