Republican Steve Pearce has cut his opponents lead by more than half, but Democrat Tom Udall still leads 51% to 41% in the U.S. Senate race in New Mexico, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of voters in the state.
With leaners factored in, Udalls lead drops to 52% to 44%, the first time in five months of polling that the gap has been out of double digits.

Make sure to vote in the online Presidential Poll. The KOS kids have been screwing with it.
McCain at 51% for now.
I’m very impressed with the performance of Steve Pearce. The biggest complaint against him was he was “Too Conservative”.
Well his ads are working. This illustrates what having the money to compete does. Just fighting for the easy races is stupid. Fight to WIN if not for McCain fight to get conservative Senators and House members elected. That is how we keep the party on the right track.
We sure as heck need people like Pearce in the Senate. I’m in NY state so there’s no hope for me except for other states to rein in my 2 jacka$$e$. Pardon me, donkeys.
Yes we do. The Senate has been known for too long as the refuge of liberals. We have the opportunity to get some real fiscal and social conservatives elected. Steve Pearce and Jim Gilmore(VA) are two perfect examples. Gilmore is turning his race around too. We are going to see it be neck and neck before November. His problem has been solidifying his conservative base, people had forgotten and Warner had been lying his ass off. Jim is a quiet thoughtful guy and it burns me that the left in this state have been slandering his record. We are going to make Warner eat their lies before it is done.
I wish Heather Wilson would have won the primary. I think she would have been more competitive.
