McCain should come out and say, “My wife is an independent woman of independent means...it’s one of the things I admire most about her. There are homes we own together and investment properties that she owns through her family’s trust and her own investing. Those are not my business but in order to answer the question, I would have to respectfully consult with her...I don’t know that that is a problem or a testimony to how far professional women have come in America. Senator Obama may believe that his wife shouldn’t have an independent professional life, I don’t know. However, that kind of control over a professional woman would never fly in ANY of our houses.” LOL.
