Looks like the latest line is the one just reported in the Macau Daily Times.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev promised to pull almost all troops from Georgia by the weekend, but there was no immediate sign of movement yesterday.

Can't disagree with him on that at all. The Russians are playing the West for cowards and fools. They must be laughing their rear ends off at us as they continue to make promises, then openly defy the promises they make, then make new promises, then defy them, and then repeat that cycle endlessly. They are using the West's desire to avoid conflict at all costs to show what paper tigers we really are, and they're doing it in a most humiliating way.

It's embarrassing.
