He got this far because he is what the democrat party has become. That ought to be obvious to any conservative paying attention for the past twenty years. A political party that empowers themselves via the slaughter of alive unborn children and now with the killing-by-neglect abandonment of reason is a political party completely bankrupt of moral compass. Hence a man with the ability and charisma to dupe simple people programmed to support the democrat candidate regardless rises to prominence with such bankrupt souls. Exactly-—Obama was created by the dims using marketing techniques and coronated by the liberal media, he is a sort of Manchurian candidate...that is why he is nothing more than an empty suit, but just like with products that are crap, eventually the marketing will stop working because people will realize it was all hype and no substance.

I disagree. I don't think the Democrat party exists in the same sense as the Republican party exists. The Democrat party is wholly reliant on the MSM for approval, direction, content, intellect, everything. What troubles the left is this - they own two institutions, the MSM and academia. Only the MSM counts. The MSM has thrown their full weight behind Obama, but he is still tanking. We are witnessing the death throws of an American institution. Gingrich was right when he called the MSM irrelevant mandarins in 95(he was just early).
