"I've been wondering about that - where is the Left on this whole thing, I mean were do they stand on this?"
Where do you think they stand on it? Here's a link from Drudge on that:

" Rice dismissed blustery comments from Russian leaders who say Warsaw's hosting of 10 U.S. interceptor missiles just 115 miles from Russia's westernmost frontier opens the country up to attack. Such comments "border on the bizarre frankly," Rice said, speaking to reporters traveling with her in Warsaw.
"When you threaten Poland, you perhaps forget that it is not 1988," Rice said. "It's 2008 and the United States has a ... firm treaty guarantee to defend Poland's territory as if it was the territory of the United States. So it's probably not wise to throw these threats around.""
Someone needs to post the video on Youtube of Obama wanting to cut all weapons development if he is elected. In fact if McCain was smart he would dust that add off now and rerun it on prime time in all fifty states.

“Here we go...interesting...expect nukes in Cuba”.
I just watched “Thirteen Days” (again) a movie depicting the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.
Are we going to go through this again?
God help us.

Actually, I believe Ralph Peters referred to them the other day as “...drink sodden barbarians....” and he is right.

We should not wait for them to “Bring it”
We should instead ram “IT” up their damned arses.
Their plan is based on us waiting, talking, and equivocating. No better way to upset the applecart than to do something unplanned for.
I swear to god someone in a position of authority better be ramping up for war, and they better be willing to do whatever is necessary to win. Including attacking first and or assassinating the SOB’s responsible for this.

If you ask me, this just goes to show their true intentions. They are looking at territorial expansion and this gets in their way. They want their satelite nations back and this missile shield is Poland's way of saying, "NOT in this lifetime."
They fear the shield and they are behaving like crybabies have have their lolly pops taken away from them.
The Bear never died, just went into hibernation.

“I think theyre take advantage of our military engagements around the world. This would be the time to stretch us thin.”
Unfortunately, we’re already thin. That’s why they can do what they want. The Iraq War has taken five years longer than assumed. We really don’t have the ability to fight anywhere else until we end that war.
To: null and void
I’m not certain they’ll need to invade Iran. They’ve already got a mutual defense pact with Iran and it’s Russian expertise and materials driving the Iranian nuke program. One thing’s for certain, with a Russian presence in Iran and Syria, Iran/Syria/Hezbollah will being particularly emboldened. This really affects Israel and her Iranian planning.
To: bereanway
With al-Asaad heading to Moscow now and the Kremlins recent comments about giving Syria nukes I think the playing field moves further to the south.Putin will find more friendlies in Syria and Iran
With all of the developments in Russia and the M.E., who really doubts what Undersecretary Shaw said about the WMDs being moved out to Syria by Russian special operations prior to the 2003 invasion....? Duplicitous scumbags.

Here is what I think is going to happen:
1. Venezuela and other nations in South America (along with Cuba) is going form an alliance or merge into a greater "Boliva" and attack Colombia..
2. Iran is going to make some noise in the Middle East
3. China will be making some noise about Taiwan..
4. Russia will be making some more noise about Eastern Europe...
