Black Pro-Lifers to Protest at DNC

Just received in my e-mailbox. Maybe they can make a trip to McCain HQ next:

DENVER, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Colorado Right to Life and American Right to Life will stand with black leaders from around the country at their Power in the Park rally and press conference on August 25, 2008, 8:30 am at Martin Luther King Park, one block from the largest Planned Parenthood abortuary in the nation.

The killing center, dubbed Auschwitz, by local opponents of the racist organization, is situated in north Denver’s minority neighborhood - consistent with the patterns of targeting minorities noted by Blackgenocide.org.

Speakers include presidential candidate Dr. Alan Keyes with America’s Independent Party, Jessie Lee Peterson, president of BOND, Rev Clenard Childress of Blackgenocide.org, Flip Benham of Operation Rescue National, and Denver’s Bishop Phillip Porter, former chairman of Promise Keepers, who will expose the tragedy that although black women comprise 6% of the population, they receive nearly 40% of the abortions in America. The leading abortion providers exploit blacks by placing 94% of abortuaries in urban neighborhoods with high black populations.

If any ethnic group in this country should be opposed to abortion, its African-Americans. I heard one black leader say that more black babies had been aborted in this country than Africans were brought here as slaves. I cannot verify the accuracy of this statement, but if accurate it ought to be spread to every black person in this country.

These evil abortion providers place their abortion mills in poor neighborhoods and this is all supported by the black community parties supported by the dems. I pray for these brave pro-life leaders that they can show the light of God on the evil darkness of abortion. amen 13 million and too many single parent homes, which leads to decades of poverty. The abortion industry makes more money than the oil companies where are the dems?

“The number one taker of black life is abortion, and it’s time people woke up to that fact. The location of this latest Planned Parenthood facility in yet another minority neighborhood is a part of the continuing fulfillment of the racist, eugenicist dream of their founder, Margaret Sanger, but it is a travesty of the American dream. Planned Parenthood’s agenda discards the principle that we are all created equal, which is the basis of liberty for all Americans.” - Alan Keyes

America’s Independent Party expected to nominate Keyes and Rohrbaugh tonight

Fenton, MI – August 20, 2008

Alan Keyes of Maryland and Brian Rohrbaugh of Colorado are expected to be nominated as the Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates of the new America’s Independent Party in its inaugural National Convention tonight.

The event, which will be held by electronic means, will include delegates from all parts of the country. The credentialing process will begin at 8:30 Eastern time, with the convention officially opening at 9:00 Eastern time, and continuing until business concludes.

The new America’s Independent Party is being built by Reagan pro-life, pro-family, “Peace through Strength” conservatives who believe that the Republican Party, with the pending nomination of John McCain, has abandoned the principles of Ronald Reagan – particularly the Reagan pro-life platform plank which recognizes the personhood of the unborn and their protection by the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution.

The Party also opposes John McCain on many other important points, including his opposition to a federal amendment protecting traditional marriage and the natural family; his sponsorship of the McCain/Feingold legislation, which they view as a direct attack on their First Amendment rights to political free speech and grassroots citizen activism; his long-time support for so-called “comprehensive immigration reform,” which they consider to be amnesty; and his support for the global warming agenda, which they believe will destroy our economy and strip us of our national sovereignty if pursued as public policy.

Since the founders of AIP are primarily long-time Keyes supporters, their opposition to Barack Obama is simply an extension of the work against the presumptive Democrat nominee that they started four years ago during the Illinois Keyes/Obama U.S. Senate race.

Chairman Tom Hoefling, commenting on the use of electronic means to conduct the event, said, “We may not have balloons, funny hats, and millions of dollars pouring into our coffers from corporate sponsors, but we have something that is much more important: regular folks – housewives, small business people, factory workers, truck drivers, accountants, executives, pastors, moms, dads – good-hearted people who love their country and want to save it, but who are too put upon financially to afford plane fares, fancy hotel rooms and all the things that go with the empty, deceptive, media events that the conventions of the existing parties have become. The Republicans and the Democrats no longer represent ‘We the People.’ That’s why we intend to change American politics from the bottom up, by example.”

Per Wikipedia:

Twelve million black Africans were shipped to the Americas from the 16th to the 19th centuries.

Of these, an estimated 645,000 (5.4% of the total) were brought to what is now the United States.

The overwhelming majority were shipped to Brazil.

The slave population in the United States had grown to four million by the 1860 Census.

America’s Independent Party nominates Alan Keyes for President

Fenton, MI – August 21, 2008

America’s Independent Party met last night in its inaugural National Convention and chose former Reagan diplomat Alan Keyes of Maryland as its nominee for President of the United States.

A platform was also debated and adopted and national officers were elected.

America’s Independent Party is being built by Reagan pro-life, pro-family, “Peace through Strength” conservatives who believe that the Republican Party, with the pending nomination of John McCain, has abandoned the principles of Ronald Reagan – particularly the Reagan pro-life platform plank that recognizes the personhood of the unborn and their protection by the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution.

Chairman Tom Hoefling, commenting on the convention said, “We may not have balloons, funny hats, and millions of dollars pouring into our coffers from corporate sponsors, but we have something that is much more important: regular folks – housewives, small business people, factory workers, truck drivers, accountants, executives, pastors, moms, dads – good-hearted people who love their country and want to save it. The Republicans and the Democrats no longer represent ‘We the People.’ That’s why we intend to change American politics from the bottom up, by example.”

AIP had intended to nominate American Right to Life President Brian Rohrbough of Colorado for Vice President but delegates unanimously voted to table the nomination pending next week’s court decision in California that will decide if Dr. Keyes will be on the ballot as the nominee of America’s Independent Party’s newest and biggest affiliate, the American Independent Party.

Slave population of British North America and the US.
In 1714: 60,000
1727: 78,000
1754: 263,000
1790: 679,000 - at the time of the first census
The great growth in the slave population came between 1727 and 1790. Then with the invention of the cotton gin and the opening up of the Deep South.
