I remember threads here on FR (I have been a FReeper for a looooong time) after the Bush/Santorum 'rallies' for Spector...that was going to be 'it' Arlen was finally going to magically turn to the Republican fold. He 'owed' the President. Yeah right. The Snarlin One pretty much thumbs his nose right back at Bush/Santorum
after he won the primary (and shook off that pesky Toomey). Sad part is, if Bush/Santorum and NOT intervened, Toomey would have won...beat empty suit Bobby Casey (think Obama, but w/o the 'quick on his feet oratatory skills) and we would have (drum roll) TWO CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN SENATORS FROM PA!!!
