AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
Yes, he’s been in touch with a couple of FReepers this morning. He’s fine. Says it’s still raining where he is.
Obama wants to help him out but not with his own money. It is the liberal way.
And for those that haven’t seen the story.
Barack Obama’s ‘lost’ brother found in Kenya

Last heard from 0526 MDT, still doin’ okay (except, IIRC, for some concern about overconsumption of coffee straining capabilities of his boat’s head.)
Maybe Sally Struthers can revive her career and pitch for donations to Obama’s impoverished brother in Kenya.
here.
Maybe Rush will send him a Rushpack.
Interesting thought....

WASHINGTON - When Barack Obama announces his choice for vice president, the real payoff may come during the next few months one text message at a time. Obama’s campaign plans to break the news of the Democratic candidate’s vice presidential pick to people who have signed up to receive e-mails and text messages from the campaign. It should give Obama’s team access to tens of thousands of cell phone numbers that could be used to mobilize voters under 30 on Election Day. “What Obama is creating is this army of individuals, these grass-roots activists, who are out there trying to change the world in 160 characters or less,”.... “I wonder what hOlymans army would think about their saviOr if they knew he will be reviving the draft (women included).” ~ Sgt_Schultze #6
If there is a documented source proving that B. Hussein will even consider reviving the draft, it would cost him the yoots vote. But, I dont think you will be able to document that. ~ no dems #14
You just gotta look under a different word or phrase. :)
In a speech, Obama said he wanted to grow the military by 65,000. Not only that, but if any were to call for a draft, it would be Barack Obama and the DemocRATS. Theyre already on the record proposing the idea. (Dont forget, Obama has already said that he wouldnt immediately pull out of Iraq, he wants to fight in Afghanistan, and has suggested that he might even invade Pakistan.)
Obama, like all RATS, will push his agenda by stealth. Instead of calling it a (mandatory) draft, hell call it something like, Service Nation where the service is mandatory.
Oh, WAIT! Thats already in the works!
Is Obama Pushing A National Draft?

A relatively new group, Service Nation, is planning to kick off a campaign with a Summit for National Service on September 11. Time Magazine has signed on to promote the effort.
The website trumpets its training of Change Agents in cooperation with Change, Inc. Its blog is called ChangeWire. Does this theme sound familiar?
The website makes it clear that it is not just calling for individuals to get involved, but it is calling for a new National Service Act that will involve the government in transforming American society...
Note the interpretation of community service as promoting national defense, just as in Barack Obamas July 2, 2008 speech, a juxtaposition that confused most bloggers.
Under [DemocRAT] Rangels [military draft] bill, if one is selected for induction into the military, one may choose instead to do civilian service.
... the bill calls this mandatory service Voluntary Service.
