article says they got the 4473s from dealers, and they’re the only ones who are supposed to keep them. nobody’s mentioned yet WHY they gave them to the police.

How are the gun shops even turning over the 4473’s to local LEO’s? I thought it was supposed to be restricted to BATF and the feds??? Hasn’t a law been broken here by the local LEO’s in their demand of those documents?
