I think it’s Hillary. If he still was seeing a 6-9 pt lead in the polls, I believe he’d pick someone else. But, he’s stagnant or tanking in the polls and a lot of them are showing McCain ahead in the Electoral College. He needs Hillary to shore up the white, blue-collar, Midwest vote that he lacks.
Thought #1: You are right. She had 14 million voters for her. This seals up gaps in Obama’s support.
