Its gonna be Webb. Navy Cross winner, principaled (sp?) SECNAV, former Republican, battleground state, doesnt have more Senate time than him - Webb helps BHO and would represent change & new way in Washington.
I don’t think Hilary wants to be his VP.. She knows he
is unable to be elected.
That statement alone would call his judgment into serious question. The woman to put it mildly is “NOT WISE”.
I think there's definitely that possibility, and there is also the possibility that it would cause the black vote to sit it out.
There is also the possibility that it would turn Denver into a war zone.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
He needs Hillary.

Didn’t Webb say he absolutely wouldn’t do it? IURC, both he and Mark Warner. the other two “moderate” Dems in VA, have effectively removed themselves from consideraton, leaving Kaine as the Old Dominion’s only option. He blew it with his Georgia/Russia comments.
Thought #1: You are right. She had 14 million voters for her. This seals up gaps in Obama’s support.
Thought #2: She is a shrill and divisive Senator without enough experience and gravitas herself to get the nomination. She had every advantage and blew it. So what makes her great as VP?
Thought #3: The rumbles of Hillary making trouble in Denver go away with this pick.
.
You’re right, I think he did ask that his name not be considered. But the campaign may have prevailed on Webb. Bottom line: they’re Democrats and I do not put it past them to fudge on veracity.
one downside for obama, he takes the backseat, won’t be a line of demarcation as to who is the presidential nominee and who sits in the senate pres chair, maybe they would take turns
I think it’s taking him so long that Hillary is the pick. She will be the attack dog.
