SACRAMENTO, Calif. A Democrat in the California legislature has been kicked out of her Capitol office for not supporting the party's state budget proposal.
Assemblywoman Nicole Parra of Hanford said Monday she wasn't surprised about being punished but was "a little taken back" by Democrats' decision to move her out of the Capitol.
When she abstained from Sunday night's budget vote, the bill fell nine votes short of the two-thirds majority needed. Parra was the only Democrat present who didn't vote for it.

Little Nazi’s
If the Calif. democrats could they would send her to a Siberian gulag.
It sure seems like temper tantrums and adolescent type behavior are the norm with Democrats / liberals / radicals.
...with an annual salary of $110,000 a year Cali legislators are the highest paid in the nation...for that kind of dough no wonder they have conflicts...everybody wants to keep their seat in Nov.
That office is paid for by either (A) the citizens or (B) the Democrat party, right?
If (A), then only the citizens can kick their representative out, via the election process.
If (B), then a private entity is bribing elected officials to vote according that entity’s wishes.
Am I missing something here?

Does anyone know about her politics? Is she a conservative Dem or just holding out for more government beanies.
Ask Juan Arambula about getting the cold shoulder from the likes of the hard-core libs in Sacramento.
Tinkerbell saw her not clapping hard enough.
Her saving grace is that she has always voted for the farmers. Which is very important in her district. Most of the Ca dems vote, and create bills that attack farming. Overall she is considered o.k. by conservatives in this area.
The pettiness of the Democratic “leadership” in our legislature knows no bounds. Senate Pro Tem leader Perata waged a ridiculous “recall” campaign against a Senator who voted on behalf of the people he represented instead of with that blowhard Perata who, thankfully, has been term limited out. The recall fell flat on its face.
Perata was one of the legislators who worked tirelessly to get his phoney “real term limits” proposition passed in the last election so he could stay in office longer. Forunately, the voters saw through it.
I’ve heard the offices are assigned by the leadership and not permanent to the district.
But...but...she’s a (Rush’s mocking haughty voice here) enlightened moderate, reaching across the aisle in the spirit of bipartisanship. Typical Rat hypocrites.
