Yeah and that's the reason it's being dropped along with softball. The US women's softball team has outscored their opponents 53-1 so far, they beat the Chinese I believe 9-0. First sports since 1936 to be dropped by the IOC. Cat Osterman said it was terrible having to justify why you're so good and rolling over all the competition. Instead of encouraging other countries to improve their baseball skills they just drop two of the most popular sports (well baseball at least while keeping things like badminton and trampoline) because of US dominance.
