Electricians make pretty good money, esp. if you could start a small business and work your way up to sub-contracting, etc. My husband is a 40 yr. tool and die maker, and I keep telling him he's worth more every day.

I always see electrician jobs open and sometimes equal to my comical salary or usually better. I do a fair amount around home, usually small stuff.

CAD is something else I see a lot of openings in. The local tech. college offers plenty of it. Maybe take both? I have to get through this year first.
