Somehow, that's not surprising. Pelosi and Reid have too long a history obstructing and obfuscating when it comes to supplying the U..S. domestic energy needs.

It doesn't matter if gas goes down dramatically. (OPEC may even be lowering their prices so we WON'T drill for our own oil!) We need our own oil or we could, very easily, find ourselves in the same position as Europe, after Russia captures all the Caspian Sea oil. This is a matter of national security and we'd better not forget it!
