Liberal playbook 101, if confronted with defeat let loose the dogs of injustice and cry conspiracy!!! For example, liberals never lose elections, they are cheated by voting machines or police with dogs or whatever the liberal imagination can conjer.
To: mngran2
though quite obviously there is a reason
There's only a reason if you have no core beliefs and no real opinions and are an empty suit and can't talk without a script. This is why all the left finds it so easy to say that McCain must have cheated. Because *they would have*.

They really need to give this a rest. It is pathetic. What a bunch of whining losers. Now that it has come out that Obama actaully had one more question in advance than McCain did, I imagine this cry of “cheating” will probably quickly go away.
Talk radio should just keep replaying the soundbite of Obama saying, “I actually cheated on this one” over and over again.

This McCain camp response needs to get repeated and repeated:
Calling the charge a "blatant falsehood" Davis said "1.) There's not one shred of evidence that it's true; 2.) In his official correspondence to both campaigns, Pastor Rick Warren provided both candidates with information regarding the topic areas to be covered, which Barack Obama acknowledged during the forum when asked about Pastor Warren's idea of an emergency plan for orphans and Obama said, 'I cheated a little bit. I actually looked at this idea ahead of time, and I think it is a great idea;' 3.) John McCain actually requested that he and Barack Obama do the forum together on stage at the same time, making these kinds of after-the-fact complaints moot."
Obama is coming off as a crybaby, whining and screaming "cheater!" in order to hide his own shortcomings and lack of connection to average folks.

Mr. McCain answered his questions straightforwardly; Mr. Obama did not. He never does.
He lost.

What the left is trying to deflect is the fact that even if McCain knew the questions and had the answers, Obama still performed well below their expectations. So sad.

I can understand where the In The Tank Media is coming from.
Their young inexperienced ninny guy got his crock cleaned by an old fart and it just has to stick in their craw.
However, all their gnashing of teeth and wearing of race card sack cloth and ashes will take away from Obamas major gaff “Above My Pay Grade” comment.
People with common sense will see through the medias In The Tank for Obama moments that this guy is a novice when it comes to his core values.
Shame on you Obama media, ABC, NBC, PMSNBC, CNN and others.

Uh media, the questions weren’t that hard. It’s just that Obama was busy trying to hide his left wing positions. McCain didn’t have that problem.

Do they really think it's so surprising that a man who has been in politics for decades would be able to formulate articulate answers regarding his own stances and beliefs? It should be more surprising that such an "articulate" media-made candidate as Obama is, wouldn't be able to do so.

Why would anyone think that McCain's hearing the questions before he went on caused Obama to be stupid?
Obama's pratfall was his own doing.
McCain didn't know what the questions would be. He didn't need to; he knew the answers.

Pretty absurd they are investigating whether McCain's entire campaign organization had any cell phones on them. Duh.
I submit 99% or Freepers could have answered every one of those questions without a cheat sheet, or a Harvard education.

The more I think about it, the more I think McCain has Obama by the throat. He has enough material from the interviews to hit him hard and fatally cripple his campaign. He can even preempt Obama's convention bump by ridiculing it beforehand, tying it into the "Obama is only good when scripted" meme.
This is like watching Clinton eviscerate Dole's campaign.
Finish him off, John. Strike NOW!
