Lawsuits run up the bill. Get sued and not have one of those stupid tests checked off, well let’s just say that lawyers love that.I disagree. There were no lawyers involved in my trying to find somewhere to get and EKG.

Fear of a lawsuit is enough; every time a doctor sees a patient tort plays a part. That's the reality of medicine in the US.
