Not only did your source not quote the Pope using the term "intelligent design," even if he did, it wouldn't mean he's a supporter of Intelligent Design, capital letters, as you define it.
I went back and read what you’re talking about. You got me. I confused what the Pope has said about intelligent design with what IDers say about the same. Nevertheless, based on the Pope’s past statements, I still maintain that his beliefs about how life got started falls under the intelligent design umbrella. He’s just alot more specific than they are as he gives God the credit.
