I’ve never understood why everyone slams MoDo’s looks. Her writing talent, her intelligence, sure, but I actually think she’s very attractive, especially for her age.

Indeed, she's not a bad looking woman, but I think it's her attractiveness on the inside people tend to comment negatively on. The woman basically defines the concept 'harridan'.

There's a reason why she has driven away all the men in her life and why the only comfort she'll get in her old age will be from her cats. I just never quite got all the criticism of her looks here.
