A perfect metaphor -
I've heard continually from people, as assuredly many others have, that there is something in Obama's manner and above all his recitations that just plain irritates...
Initially, "uniqueness" served Obama well. But the newness has worn off; and what remains is - just plain, increasing irritation.
I don’t have TV and haven’t heard either man speak before. But I watched Saddleback online. Listening to Obama was an eyeopener. And after having listened to him, I was very irritated. Hence the “nails on a chalkboard” opinion. Hesitant verbiage is annoying.
