judgment and punishment is God’s business - not mine.

That is just pure happy talk nonsense. We are to judge people's actions and DO every day. Every single law is based on the premise of having to JUDGE. Would you say the same pious sounding but kooky nonsense about child molesters? "Their sin is between God and them. Who am I to say it is wrong..."

we are taught to judge. You are right the “don’t judge” nonsense means there are no choices of right and wrong.

Try your kooky strawman argument somewhere else. There is absolutely NO relationship between two consenting adults engaging in (disgusting) personal behavior and a pervert preying on an innocent child; other than maybe that both actions have some peripheral acquaintance with sex. Get a grip.

OF COURSE we judge peoples actions. Especially when they are against the law, and as in your cited hypothetical, causing harm to a child. I would cheerfully SHOOT a child molester in the head, whether the molester in question is gay OR straight - and that doesn’t call for a moral determination from me. A child molester has broken the law, and in the most egregious manner I can think of. A murderer is a murderer. A thief is a thief. Judging a CRIME/criminal activity is one thing: I fail to see how whom someone sleeps with is any business of mine, nor do I think it should be a crime worthy of time wasted by myself or law enforcement. Judging law-breaking IS a valid action by honest citizens. Judging SINS and the sin component of a crime, OTOH, is God’s business.

I in no way condone homosexuality: it is a sin in my view, and an unhealthy one at that. However, the SIN component of the homosexual act is between the sinner and God, and really is none of my business. And, it certainly doesn’t mean I have to devote every waking moment chastising homos for their personal choices/sins.

I am not “friends” with homosexuals. I do not support their “lifestyle”. However, it really is their business - and not mine, or yours. It really doesn’t effect my daily life at all. God will deal with it in His own time and manner.

NOW, let’s deal with the other issues of homosexuality, namely their attempts to push their perversion as “normal” in the schools and in popular culture, and in their drive to have their unnatural relationships recognized by law. They have NO more fervent opponent than me! I cringe at the thought of two “dads” or “moms” adopting a child. I get violently upset when courts allow a gay lover visitation rights to a child that s/he has no biological connection to. Etc.

Lets keep the debate over homosexuality where it belongs: its effects the fabric of our society. Almighty God can surely handle the “sin” of it all. I’m not equipped to do so and I highly doubt you are either.

Ye that is without sin, cast the first stone.
