The GOP might, but I won’t.

Ridge is WRONG. I want someone more conservative than McCain, NOT more liberal. If I wanted Liberal/Marxist I’d vote for Obama.

Even though it has already lost much of what it was meant to be, with this assinine step, Ridge, the GOP would cease to be the GOP.
Whatever it becomes may accept such a move...but I will not, and million and million like me wont either.
If McCane wants to lose...let him take this foolish step and thus pull defeat out of the jaws of victory.

“Ridge believes Republicans will accept a pro-abortion VP.”
Further evidence that Ridge is a loser.
Abortion is unacceptable.
I will NOT vote for a baby killer.

A pro-life coting record is one of the only things keeping his candidacy alive with conservatives. A baby-killer VP would doom the ticket. What a moron.
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
Ridge is wrong. This is one Republican that will not accept a pro-abortion VP. I would take Liberman over Ridge any day.

Anyway, Ridge believes Republicans will accept a pro-abortion VP.Of course, they will. They accepted McCain, and all of his liberal stances, as the nominee. What choice will they have?
The tactic for the GOP for the last five elections has been "be afraid of the dem's candidate because he's a socialist who will destroy America". And it has worked.
The GOP can front just about anybody and the GOP base will support him/her simply because the most liberal, dangerous dem in the history of the U.S. is on the other side.

The party leadership might accept it, but the average Republican voter? I don’t think so.
