Western Europe, of course, is mostly going to sit on its ass due to its dependency on Soviet —er, Russian natural gas. If they do anything major to help Georgia, it could be a long, cold winter for them.
I believe the EU will send in peacekeeprs while the particulars of the two provinces ar negotiated.
I believe that NATO will (along with the US as a part of it) beef up Georgian and Ukraining military equipment, training, and operations and that bases in each country are probably going to happen.
We shall see.
