Hey, Reagan told Gorbachev to tear down that Wall, and he did.
Gorbachev did? Funny, I missed that.
Gorbachev permitted that wall to come down by default, i.e., when the German people on both sides of the wall started dismantling it, you didn't see East German and/or Soviet troops opening fire on the crowds.
If Gorbachev had wished to keep the Berlin Wall in place, he had every means of doing so, and he chose not to.

If Gorbachev had wished to keep the Berlin Wall in place, he had every means of doing so, and he chose not to. If Gorbachev had wished to take down the wall, he would have done so himself, itstead of having the Germans do it.
