I loved seeing the contrast between Obama's round-the-block equivocation of what to do about evil and McCain's two-word answer.

Does evil exist, and if so, do we ignore it, do we negotiate with it, do we contain it, or do we defeat it?

Obama: “A lot of evil has been perpetrated in the claim that we were trying to confront evil.”
He’s not talking about another country there. He’s talking about the US.

Does evil exist, and if so, do we ignore it, do we negotiate with it, do we contain it, or do we defeat it?

McCain: Defeat it.

“Does evil exist?”

Is there anyone who seriously suggests it doesn’t?

Obama: We see evil sadly in the streets of our cities.

Yes like the now 11 condemned buildings in Obama’s own district that his friend Resko, was given tens of millions of dollars to turn into affordable housing appartments

Yes, the pacifist kumbaya-singing hippie liberals, along with many more people than we might expect.

Barack Obama didn’t mention Al Qaeda or Islamofascism even once. That’s going to come back and hurt him.

“Is there anyone who seriously suggests it doesn’t?”

Moral relativist do it all the time, that there is no objective good and evil, it’s all a matter of perspective.

Obama: “A lot of evil has been perpetrated in the claim that we were trying to confront evil.”

In this great country, a person has a right to think that WE# have perpetrated evil. But nobody who thinks that has any right to be our president.
This, and a lengthening compilation of him and his wife making America-loathing statements, will sink him so far he'll have to look up to see down. #The United States of America

Neither gave a good answer on this. McCain was more black & white naming some evil people, while Obama gave more of a fuzzy broad-brush sort of answer, evil exist here and there.
Their in a Church, with a huge audience of Christians watching, tell it like it is, Evil exist, and the father of all evil, Satan, does truly exist. And each of us Christians are at war with Satan each and every day, in our personal lives and on a global scale like with the Monster who orchestrated the attack on 9/11.
Now something like that would of gotten a standing ovation.

McCain sees radical Islam as evil. Obama sees evil in OUR cities and families.....Sorry Barry, wrong answer. You are not running for family councilor, you are running for President.

My husband and I thought Obama’s response was very telling and appalling. It would be one thing if he said there was evil in the “world,” but he only mentioned evil in the U.S. After he recently “campaigned” in Europe, I can only interpret this to mean that he’s saying our country is more evil than other countries. This response by him was very disturbing.

Yeah, it is kind of funny that no one is hitting Obama on that. Obama points to families as being evil, instead of Muslims terrorist (who the question was obviously pointing towards). Liberals world view is whack.
