I'd like everyone to know that Cajungirl is in a potentially life-threatening crisis/illness.
She is a dear friend to me and others here know her by her humor and impressive writing. (We met during the hilarious Runaway Bride debacle, and C.G. gave us some hilarious instruction about Southern Culture and weddings and flatware!)
Few here know, and she never tells about herself, but she is a very accomplished woman in the healing profession. She has spent her life doing good works. She loves life, her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. Recently she partially retired and she and her husband have had plans to travel over-seas.
With a faith that is as strong as conviction, I ask you all to include her and her family in special prayers, because I know it will help.
This has come upon us all so suddenly. I am not only praying for her life. I pray that she be comforted by The Comforter , Himself. So be it, Amen.
Thank you all very much.
done
Continued prayers for you, God bless!
Thank you so much for keeping us informed! Prayers continue...
AH, that turkey and dressing, southern style, with gravy was the best meal of my life but don’t down peanut butter and jelly,,it beats ensure hands down.
I wish I could reply to every post but I cannot. I am in Baltimore to see the medical gurus here and decide if treatment here without the deep south coddling I know I would get in Louisiana, is worth staying here for a while.
At least no hurricanes. But also, most of my friends now are in Louisiana and I tell you, they are the finest friends in the world. Plus relatives are close at hand.
So we will see. Keep praying for me and know that I read all the posts and appreciate every one. You all have been a rock for me and an inspiration for me.
Lots of love around here from what I see.
A humble Prayer...
Prayers to you canjungirl.
Nothing beats good old southern comfort food.
This was long ago and I am free of cancer for four years plus but have never forgottenthe kindness of FR Strangers, it was wonderful.
THANK YOU FOREVER
