I think the deal is for 10 ABM’s to be hosted there, so it may be 100% effective against 10 ICBM’s.

To the Russians the ABM shield in Poland is nothing. It can be taken out by a volley of ALCMs or the destruction of the controlling radars. They are just bumping their gums because it wouldn't be Russian if they didn't complain.

The Russians will simply target the Polish site from the Kaliningrad Special Defense Region on the Baltic or from Belarus.
