If our side truly understood the gravity of the situation, they should’ve rallied around Savage without Savage having to appeal to them for help, but Savage says he heard from no one and was practically all alone in his fight. (as usual)

Savage is not a part of the clique like Rush, Hannity, Levin, etc. are.
Ha, we’ll we all know that now don’t we, and that is one of the reasons Savage lashes out at them and continues to make fun of them and probably even helped give rise to his adoption of the ‘independent’ conservative label, that others now are also using.
That’s also another good point.
When you lash out at people, don’t be surprised they don’t come rushing to your aid.

This is from a committee hearing on global warming. The pastor was trying to tell the committee how global warming legislation affects the poor detrimentally more than the rich. Sen. Wiggiins made a pithy vulgar comment in response.
If you want to talk about petty jealousies, go to you know who’s thread when he goes off on Savage.
Thanks, I already showered once today, I’d rather keep it that way, but I’m sure the ‘gloaters’ will be out in force dancing on the grave of Savage saying “see he deserved it”.
Yes and I thought today this thread and Levin's thread would reek of sarcasm and gloating over Savage dropping the CAIR case and related aspects of Savage's efforts. The "this just in bulletin: Savage drops case" thread attracted several attackers.
Thus my warning earlier about gloating and not using gloatometers today.
I won't get to (nor want to) hear Levin until 8:00PM Pacific time. I do like his show and I understand some of his counter attacks -- but both men act like school kids sometimes. Is that NYC "street smarts?" It can't be.

Of course had Savage just taken the lead of Bush and talkers like Hannity making the PC claim that Islam is a ‘religion of peace’ he wouldn’t be in the mess thats he’s in now, now would he! That damn Savage, making conservatives look bad AGAIN!
