"Blending cultures just doesn't work"

Tell that to New Yorkers, Miamians, Chicagoans, Los Angelenos, Bostonians, Brazilians, Canadians, Londoners, ...

...the Italians, the Poles, the Irish, the Germans, the Norwegians, the Swedes, the Puerto Ricans, the Ukranians, et al - any neighborhood in any of those cities.

I'm no expert in North and South American Demography, but from an external observation, US cities seem to be made up of moderates of electively located residents.
London is place I know well and is definitely not a culturally blended area, no matter you read in your media.

As for Europe, it definitely is not a model of multiculturalism, and is a simmering timebomb.

So say Ireland, Africa, Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Thailand, all the middle East, far East, Arabian Countries . . You know what? I can't give you a good example of a blended country that is a working example of multiculturalism, rather than a city of moderates electively living together.

I'm not talking about ' I eat Spanish food' or 'She likes Asian music' or 'He follows an Eastern religion' here, I'm talking about unmanageable rifts between people who would rather hack each other to pieces rather than share the same villages.

That is the reality of Countries throughout Europe and Asia, there are deep historical issues that left wing talkers will never overcome in a few presidential terms, it will take generations and generations, if it's even possible.

Please forgive me if my assumption that you're from the US is wrong, but things are very different here in Europe.

Miamians

Someday, I'll visit the beautiful Miamia! (Incidentally, is Mumia from Miamia?)
