Of all the players involved, I’d have to give the biggest benefit of the doubt to the kid who pulled the trigger.
If what lady lawyer said in post 17 is true about the situation, that kid at least can make some claim to duress. Those are not the sorts of things straight boys are likely to tolerate well.
Killing the kid is over the top, but when you’re dealing with hormone crazed teens and there’s no knowing how far this pervert was going in his harassment of the other kid, I’d be more inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

If the straight boy was being stalked, then you have point. For that matter, we don't really know for certain what all that stalking involved. The kid might've been been fearing for his safety for all we know.
