Wouldn't be hard to surmise the possibility considering, that CAIR is able to recruit from this current pool of in-house terrorists a few that would be willing to take out Savage, Savage's high profile son, or his daughter, or his wife.

You also have the financial toll that it’s taking on Savage to fight this uphill battle against CAIR, not sure if Savage had the monetary resources needed to see it all the way through.

In the end I suspect Mr.Savage and his family had recieved so many threats from CAIR and its supporters.
