Man fired from job kills Ark. Democratic chairman

Police and neighbors are struggling to explain why a man described as a loner drove more than 30 miles to Arkansas' Democratic Party headquarters and fatally shot its chairman hours after getting fired from his job.

Police said Timothy Dale Johnson, 50, of Searcy, barged into Bill Gwatney's office on Wednesday and shot him multiple times. There were no signs that Gwatney and Johnson, who was later shot dead by officers, knew each other.

A Target retail store in Conway had fired Johnson early Wednesday because he had written graffiti on a wall, police said. Before noon, Johnson was in Gwatney's office in Little Rock with a handgun.

"He said he was interested in volunteering, but that was obviously a lie," said Sam Higginbotham, a 17-year-old volunteer at the party's headquarters.

So, has Rush Limbaugh been blamed yet? (If not, it’s coming.)

It stands to reason, that if a person is fired from a Target, he’s going to go looking for another target.

This is just a cover. The Clintons had him shoot the guy because he is supporting Obama at the convention. Hillary will attempt to snatch the nomination, and needed Arkansas votes.

Tradition still causes me to question how the Clintons were involved.

If someone has a bad senior year in high school followed up by a bad freshamn year in college, they often seem not to recover.

I was one of those. They wouldn't let me be a freshman, so I had to settle for freshamn. I was hazed mercilessly!

Dem-on-dem crime...

How are they gonna spin this to make Republicans at fault here?

What is the story behind this loser?

The story is that if you're a loser it's easier to blame everybody else in the world than it is to put the blame where it probably belongs, that is to say, on yourself, and then take positive action to fix the problem.

“Police and neighbors are struggling to explain why a man described as a loner drove more than 30 miles to Arkansas’ Democratic Party headquarters and fatally shot its chairman hours after getting fired from his job.”

And the MSM is struggling to find a political spin that will link the shooting to the Republicans, McCain, the religious right, Rush Limbaugh or the NRA.

[Perhaps he was a Republican who blames the Democrats for hurting the economy.]

If that were true, the media would be non-stop “Republican extremeist kills innocent Dem leader”.

I am sure you are kidding, but just in case, he was a Hillary super delegate; long time Clinton friend.

That's right. One of the foundations of modern thought is that mankind is essentially good, but with some bad faults that we've learned along the way.

Nice thought, but it's in conflict with with what the Bible says. Scripture's explanation of the whole situation truly explains the problem with mankind's behavior and its ultimate solution.

But we're told, for example, that education is the answer to the problem, or that religion is the solution.

The Clintons have been behind many, many people who have died, sometimes mysteriously like Vince Foster or sometimes out in the open.

Don’t put anything past their urge for power, especially in their home state of Arkansas.
