Well, according to the RNC’s website, it’s Minneapolis-St. Paul, but I’ve never gotten the whole Twin Cities thing. Which one is it?? :)
Perhaps it’s a flophouse?
The article says it’s a luxury hotel. It’s all suites.
The Excel Center is in downtown St. Paul.
Delegates will be placed in hotels in St. Paul, Minneapolis, and suburbs.
Minneapolis has the better nightlife.
St. Paul never gets any respect. Kind of like Fort Worth, Texas.
P.S. Anybody coming to the convention need a place to stay? I could be convinced to haul the family up north for the week for a couple grand. The house is in Woodbury, 15 minutes from the Excel center. Full bar/theater/game room in the basement.
I’m assuming Freepers would have respect and not wreck the place.
This comment reminded me of a cartoon I saw once. In the cartoon a naked man is laying unconscious in an alley and there are two cops standing over him.
One cops says to the other, “Whata ya think? Robbery??”
Give the man a Guinness. Brilliant!
Im assuming Freepers would have respect and not wreck the place.
Well, natch, but getting through the RINO lovefest the GOP'll be staging is gonna require a whole lotta booze....
Surprising ... that the story still uses “English” measure.
Those are all good points. Also, where did this poor Somali immigrant get the money to stay at that hotel? Heck, how did he even find out about it?
I’m sure, all stupid disclaimers to the side, that various agencies are working these angles. DPD probably got kicked off the case immediately, which is a pity.
Yeah, I can see where the confusion lies... (rolling eyes)
