This seems to be almost beyond controversy. The more I learn about Obamalamadingdong the more convinced I am that, on his own, he could not organize a circular pudpulling party. I don’t think it is even remotely possible that his whole campaign is his own contrivance, this is the man who published an autobiography when nobody knew his name, it makes no sense. Somebody else was controlling him even then. He obviously is incapable of coherent thought and his only ability is that of reading a teleprompter in a deep voice.

Hmmm. Not so sure. History shows that Blacks vote "D" about NINETY percent of the time, however.

I am not so sure that there will be ANY fleeing to McRINO by Blacks should Hillary STEAL the nomination from The Obamassiah.

But I can tell you THIS for sure. My Dad declared to me in 2002 that if Hillary were to run for President, he WOULD vote for her (and he WOULD, too). Just a couple of weeks ago, he told me that he would be voting for a Republican (McRINO) for the first time ever.

So if Hillary DOES get the nomination, my Dad would switch from his current intention of voting for McRINO / AGAINST Obama to FOR HILLARY!

That is guaranteed. That is, unless my brother and I might sway him to stick with McRINO. Very unlikely, I think. He LOVED Bill and is hell bent for Hillary.

I agree. When I joined the service, I had to declare a religion (for my records and my dog tags). I had no prior religious experience, so I said "none." Somehow, my records and dog tags ended up showing "Catholic." I still believe it was some sort of Papist conspiracy. ;)

For years I tried to get it changed, to no avail. I eventually because a Catholic, so the records would be correct…well, there was more to it that that. ;)

Anyway, if I hadn’t become Catholic, someone could look at my records and say I’d been Catholic since the 80s.

Depends on whether they would need just a majority or more. You and I had been talking about this on another thread so I figured I’d just thow this into the mix. ;)

I believe it is one vote per state delegation, simple majority required for within each state delegation and overall among all state delegations.

Well, for starters, aside from any consideration of what, if anything the school record proves, Andy Martin has one goal in life: promoting Andy Martin, with screaming-meemie press releases that never quote any actual sources.

Secondly, this Indonesian school record information has been around since 2006. The photo caption on the Daylife site indicates "18 months ago." The Chicago Tribune's article was written in March 2007, American Expat in Southeast Asia posted the info on the school record on his blog in January 2007, a translation of an Indonesian news story dated July 2006. There's probably more sources out there, because it was never a secret, and never disputed by Obama.

So according to the renowned expert Andy Martin, the Indonesian press, the AP, the Chicago Tribune and anyone else who reported on this are involved in a deep, dark conspiracy? Huh?

The FEC was out of commission for over six months. They just started working again on July 10. Congress was dragging its feet over confirmation hearings for new FEC commissioners, leaving the agency without a quorum. The commission just started work again for the first time on July 10th under its new chairman, Donald McGahn.

I would like to think that Americans are smart enough to have learned a lesson from the Clinton era. Obviously not.

Application and/or acceptance of Indonesian citizenship by or for the minor child Obama would have no effect on his U.S. citizenship status.

Section 349 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1481), as amended, states that U.S. citizens are subject to loss of citizenship if they perform certain specified acts voluntarily and with the intention to relinquish U.S. citizenship. Briefly stated, these acts include:

obtaining naturalization in a foreign state (Sec. 349 (a) (1) INA);
taking an oath, affirmation or other formal declaration to a foreign state or its political subdivisions (Sec. 349 (a) (2) INA);
entering or serving in the armed forces of a foreign state engaged in hostilities against the U.S. or serving as a commissioned or non-commissioned officer in the armed forces of a foreign state (Sec. 349 (a) (3) INA);
accepting employment with a foreign government if (a) one has the nationality of that foreign state or (b) an oath or declaration of allegiance is required in accepting the position (Sec. 349 (a) (4) INA);

As a minor child, Obama lacked the legal status to perform any of these specified acts “voluntarily and with the intention to relinquish U.S. citizenship” and whatever his stepfather did or Indonesian operation of law did cannot disquaify his for the presidency.

Therefore, this will not be a legal disqualifier, but will again raise huge “who is this guy?” issues.

Too many of us this whole business of chasing down Obama's eligibility for the presidency seems like we are running rabbits.

What I really do not understand is why the FEC is not involved in this.

The FEC doesn't do much other than watch the money flow. The eligibility issue is left to the states.

The candidate has to apply to have his name on the ballot in each state. The application form probably has a statement where he affirms his eligibility. The govt probably assumes people are telling the truth and leaves it up to us citizens to show otherwise.

If the RATS nominate Obama, and he is later thrown off the ballot in a couple of key states, they would have a real problem on their hands. I assume they would talk him into stepping down.

At this point, I still expect him to be the nominee. If it really is true that he became an Indonesian citizen, the RATS will still have a problem.
