Have you ever missed someone before they’re gone?

I know exactly what you mean. My brother, my wife, and I sat with my brother's wife for all of her last three days. There were only a few lucid moments. We knew she was aware, but she didn't really respond. The three of us spent a lot of time reminiscing about the good times we'd had together, and how much Annie meant to us.

My brother and I walked outside to see one of his projects a few minutes before the end. Annie asked my wife where my brother was, and if he was okay. When my wife assured her he was okay, she passed.

Your friend may leave us physically, but I suspect she'll be an intimate part of your life for a long time to come...

Jinx, hi, thank you for sharing that with me/us. I’m sure she knew you were there and passed peacefully because of that. Believe me, I know what you were feeling.

“When my wife assured her he was okay, she passed.”

That happened with my Mom, I had to tell her it was ok.

Yes, I will never forget my friend. She’s the best friend I’ve ever had. She will always be in my heart.
